The state level shooting competition concluded on Saturday. On the basis of this competition, 67 shooters including 16 women from Chhattisgarh have qualified for All India GV Mavalankar Shooting Competition.

Raipur. The state level shooting competition concluded on Saturday. On the basis of this competition, 67 shooters including 16 women from Chhattisgarh have qualified for All India GV Mavalankar Shooting Competition. In the state event organized at 4th Battalion Shooting Range, Mana, Raipur, 220 players from across the state displayed their talent in 22 Bore Rifle, Air Rifle, Air Pistol and 25 Meter Pistol Shooting events. Chhattisgarh Pradesh Shooting Association organized this event in association with JSPL. The shooters from the 67 qualifying state will showcase their talent in the All India GV Mavalankar event to be held in Ahmedabad from October 10 to 30. At the conclusion of the competition, Pradeep Tandon, President (Corporate Affairs), JSPL, awarded the medal winners. On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Rifle Association general secretary Rakesh Gupta, Nilesh T. Shah, unit head of JSPL Raipur Arvind Tagai, Mr. Durgesh Vashisht and Ravinder Singh Sando were present from all over the state.

NCC cadets won 4 medals
Six cadets of 27 CG Battalion NCC of Raipur also participated in the state competition, out of which four cadets got the distinction of winning medals. Niranjan and Shreyanshi won gold, Ekta won silver and Vidhideepa won bronze.
