Jhalrapatan. An attempt was made to kidnap a schoolgirl from the town on Friday, but with the awareness and understanding of the girl, she returned home safely. Avika, daughter of grocer Vinod Kumar Modi, resident of the main market, is a student of class VIII. She was going to study at St. John’s English Medium School at 8.45 am when the woman got down from the car parked on Punjab National Bank road near Municipality Tiraha and came near the girl, covered her mouth with cloth and put her in the car. Took a seat The girl told that the clothes smelled like chloroform, but she had put a mask on her mouth. This did not affect the smell and she expressed her unconscious after seeing this incident, the woman left for Jhalawar with the car. On the way, the woman kept on telling the driver the way and talking to someone on the mobile. On reaching Jhalawar, the person talking on mobile asked him to come back to Patan. On this the woman came back to Jhalrapatan with her and parked the car in front of the Gurudwara located on Dwarkadhish Marg and these women and the car driver went to the tap outside the Chowpatty to drink water by putting the car gate. In the meantime, seeing the opportunity, she opened the car gate and went to her friend’s house in the street of Bhargava hospital and told the family members of the friend about the incident. On this the friend’s father went home to drop her. Gave information about the whole incident at home. The girl’s father has lodged a report of the incident at Jhalawar Mahila Police Station. Police is doing information on the basis of CCTV installed on the way.
