BCCI has invited applications for the new coach of Team India, the claimants will have to fulfill these conditions

The Indian team will get a new coach after the World Cup in November.

The formal process has started for the new appointment to the post of head coach of the Indian cricket team. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited applications for this. On Sunday, October 17, the BCCI issued an advertisement inviting applications for the post of head coach of Team India. According to the BCCI, the contenders for this post will have to send their application to the BCCI by October 26 at 5 pm. With this, formalities have started according to the constitution of BCCI to make Rahul Dravid the coach. Apart from the head coach, applications have also been invited for the bowling coach, batting coach and fielding coach in the support staff.

According to the BCCI advertisement, the tenure of the head coach and support staff will be of two years. Along with this, the board has also laid many conditions for the eligible candidate. According to this, the applicant for head coach should have experience of at least 30 Test matches or One Day International matches. Or he has been the coach of the national team of a full member country of ICC for two years. Or has been the coach of any associate team or IPL team or other foreign league or first class team for 3 years. Or has obtained Level-3 Certificate (Coaching) from BCCI. Apart from all this, the age of the person concerned should be less than 60 years at the time of appointment.
