Bhopal Crime News: Bhopal (Navdunia representative). On the complaint of a soldier, the Shahjahanabad police station has registered a case against unknown people for fraudulently withdrawing one lakh 36 thousand rupees. The fraudsters had obtained confidential information about his bank account from the army personnel by fearing that the ATM card would be blocked.
According to Shahjahanabad police station, Anil Yadav son Narayan Yadav is in the army. He currently resides in the New Sultania Infantry Line. Anil had lodged a written complaint. It was told that on October 7 in the evening, he received a call from an unknown person on his mobile. The caller told him that your ATM card is going to be blocked. After that he will not be able to withdraw money using the card. To avoid hassle, take necessary documents and contact the bank branch. On this, Anil cited his busyness, then the caller got him to talk to another person. He introduced himself to Anil as a bank officer. Also said that if he gives some information related to his account, then whatever is lacking regarding the account, he will update it online. On being deceived, Anil had told confidential information related to his account on the phone. After some time, the fraudsters transferred one lakh 36 thousand rupees from Anil’s account by doing online transactions. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case of cheating against unknown persons.
