Bhopal Crime News: Bhopal (Navdunia representative). Kotwali police station has registered a case of stealing bracelets against the house maid on the complaint of a class 12 student. The woman has been arrested and gold bracelets have been recovered from her house. The gold bracelet was brought by the student’s father from Dubai for his wife. There is also an interesting aspect in this case that the maid started working in the student’s house from October 1. On October 4, he committed the theft.

Kotwali police station in-charge Karan Singh told that Mohammad Ali Khan, a resident of Azad Market, lives with his mother. He studies in 12th standard. On October 1, a woman named Sultana (45), a resident of Pari Bazar, started sweeping Ali Khan’s house. On October 4, three bracelets belonging to Ali Khan’s mother, kept in the cupboard drawer, suddenly went missing. The stolen gold bracelets weighed seven tola. When Ali and his mother questioned Sultana, she denied the theft. Also said that she might have forgotten to keep the bracelet somewhere else. Ali had lodged a written complaint at the Kotwali police station on having strong suspicions on Sultana in the theft case. On Thursday, police searched Sultana’s house during interrogation, when gold bracelets were recovered from her house. The stolen bracelet is said to be worth Rs 2,80,000. To hide the stolen bracelets, Sultana had also cut small pieces of one bracelet in three, but before she could sell the gold, her theft was caught.
