Bihar Crime: Priest Murdered In Darbhanga On Navami One Criminal Was Thrashed To Death By People Ann

Darbhanga The head priest of the temple, Rajeev Kumar Jha, was murdered by miscreants on Thursday morning in the Kankali temple located in the Rambagh Raj complex. The incident is being told around 4:15 in the morning. In the morning, seeing the miscreants going towards the temple premises with weapons, the local people had started to gather, till then the priest was shot dead. When a devotee who was present in the temple at the time of the incident opposed it, he also shot him. He is seriously injured.

After the incident, a miscreant was beaten to death by the local people. Two others were caught along with the car, while one of the criminals managed to escape. The deceased miscreant has been identified as Pulkit Singh. He is the son of an LNMU worker. Confirming the incident, Darbhanga SSP Babu Ram said that the priest of the temple has been killed while another person has also been shot and is injured. The mob killed a crook. Two miscreants are undergoing treatment at DMCH and their condition is critical.

There may be a dispute between the nephew of the priest

Sadar SDPO Krishnanandan, who came to investigate the incident, said that there was information about the priest of the Kankali temple being shot dead. A miscreant was beaten up so much by the people that he died on the spot. Two other miscreants have been caught. He is undergoing treatment at DMCH. A pistol and 2-3 shells have been recovered from the spot. Sadar SDPO said that the reason for the murder is being ascertained. Local people are telling the reason behind the incident as a dispute between the criminal and the priest’s nephew.
