The shopkeeper was shot dead by criminals in Damki village of Kateya police station area of ​​Gopalganj. The bike-borne criminals shot the shopkeeper in the chest. The name of the deceased shopkeeper is being told as Mantu Yadav. After committing the murder, the bike-borne criminals fled towards Fazilnagar in Nakushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

It is said that 32-year-old Mantu Yadav, resident of Neuri village of Kateya police station area, used to sell petrol and diesel in gallons on the roadside near Damani Mode. Around 3.30 pm on Monday, three youths riding on a bike reached Mantu Yadav’s shop and took a gallon full of petrol. After taking a gallon of petrol, the three bike-borne criminals left the shop without paying any money. Mantu Yadav followed him on the bike after the youth riding the bike ran away without paying money and reached him. On demanding money, the bike-borne criminals shot Mantu Yadav in the chest and fled. Mantu Yadav died on the spot due to bullet injury. After this incident of public murder, sensation spread in the area.

Police engaged in investigation

After the murder of shopkeeper Mantu Yadav, the local people informed the police. The police reached the spot and took it in possession and sent it for post-mortem. Police say that the police is investigating every point. Along with this, raids are also being conducted to arrest the criminals. Police say that the criminals will be caught by the police as soon as possible.
