Patna: After a long time, the process of recruiting the vacant posts has started in the Department of Arts, Culture and Youth in Bihar. These posts will be reinstated through Bihar Public Service Commission i.e. BPSC. BPSC ( Eligible candidates can apply by visiting the website of BPSC. There will be recruitment on 38 posts of District Art and Culture Officer.
Eligible candidates can apply online for this. The date of filling the online application has started from 3rd February while the last date of application will be 2nd March. That is, about one month will be for the candidates.

There are total 38 posts of Art and Culture Officer. In which 13 posts are reserved for women, because the Bihar government has given 35 percent reservation to women in government jobs.
The same, the number of unreserved posts is 14, in which 1 for Economically Weaker Section, Scheduled Caste (SC) 06, Scheduled Tribe (ST) 01, Extremely Backward Class (EBC) 07, Backward Class (OBC) 05, Backward Class 01 seat is reserved for female.
For this, the pay scale is fixed from Rs 34 thousand 500 to Rs 1 lakh 12 thousand 400. Educational Qualification- It is necessary to have a PG degree in theatrical arts along with being a graduate from a recognized university.
The same, the minimum age should be 21 years and maximum 42 years. There is a different process for different categories of candidates.
Talking about the selection process, candidates will have to go through three stages. Successful candidates in the preliminary examination will appear in the written examination. Successful candidates in the written test will sit in the interview. Let us inform that the preliminary examination will be of 2 hours and for this 150 marks are fixed. The same, 100 marks have been fixed for the interview. Merit list will be prepared after the interview.
