17 American Christian missionaries and their families have been kidnapped by a gang in Haiti. The incident happened when all the missionaries were on their way out of an orphanage in the capital, Port-au-Prince. These people were going towards the airport by bus to drop some members of their group. Children of missionaries are also among those who have been kidnapped.

Oil prices increased for the 14th time in 17 days
Government oil companies have increased their prices for the third consecutive day today i.e. on Sunday. Petrol and diesel prices have been increased by 35-35 paise per liter in Delhi today. After the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, the price of petrol in Delhi has reached Rs 105.84 and the price of diesel has reached Rs 94.57 per liter. Main accused and former minister Mahipal Maderna passed away in Bhanwari case
Mahipal Maderna, once a Congress stalwart and a staunch opponent of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, died in Jodhpur on Sunday morning. He was 69 years old and was suffering from cancer for some time. During his tenure as the Water Resources Minister in the state, he was removed from the post of minister in connection with the kidnapping and murder of Bhanwari Devi, an ANM of Jodhpur district. In this case, he was in jail for about ten years. Recently he got bail from the High Court.
Mahipal Maderna had a very strong hold in the politics of the rural area of Jodhpur. He is survived by his wife Leela Maderna, the district chief of Jodhpur and two daughters. One daughter Divya is an MLA from Osian. Mahipal Maderna was the district chief of Jodhpur for about 19 years. He was twice elected MLA from Osian.

Banka youth dies in Srinagar terror attack
