A speeding car crushed 20 people involved in the Dussehra tableau at Pathalgaon in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh. The incident happened when people had gone to see the tableau of Dussehra. One died in the accident. There many are seriously injured. Immediately after the incident, all the injured were taken to Pathalgaon Civil Hospital for treatment with the help of local people. The accused have been arrested in the case. At the same time, CM Bhupesh Baghel has expressed grief over the accident.
According to the information received from the office of Superintendent of Police, Jashpur, both the accused in the road accident incident have been arrested. The accused Bablu Vishwakarma father Radheshyam Vishwakarma, aged 21 years resident of Singrauli, Baidhan and Shishupal Sahu father Ramjanma Sahu aged 26 years resident of Bargawan police station Bargawan district Singrauli have been arrested. Action is being taken by the police against both the accused as per law. It was told that both the accused are residents of Madhya Pradesh and were passing from Chhattisgarh.

CM Bhupesh Baghel called the incident heart breaking
Expressing deep sorrow over the incident of Jashpur, CM Bhupesh Baghel has given instructions for investigation. Describing the incident as heart-wrenching, he said that the accused have been arrested while taking prompt action. Prima facie action has also been taken against the guilty police officers. The Chief Minister has said that no one will be spared, justice will be done to all. He has prayed for peace to the soul of the deceased and speedy recovery of the injured in the accident.
Home Minister gave instructions for strict action
On the other hand, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu discussed with Jashpur Superintendent of Police and Collector about the incident in Pathalgaon and directed them for proper treatment of the injured and strict action against the accused. At the same time, angry people from the incident gheraoed the Pathalgaon police station. The crowd gathered on the spot also raised slogans against ASI KK Sahu of Pathalgaon police station.
