Denmark’s PM Mette Fredriksson will visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort today. For this, she reached the Taj Mahal this morning by golf cart at 9:36 am. She is also accompanied by husband Bo Tenberg. After 19 months, a head of state has come to see the Taj Mahal. Earlier on 26 February 2020, former US President Donald Trump came to see the Taj.
PM Mete had reached Agra on Saturday night with her husband Bo Tenberg. Cabinet Minister Shrikant Sharma welcomed both of them at the Air Force Station. Today she will stay in the Taj Mahal for one and a half hours as per the schedule.
After this, she will return to the hotel after visiting Agra Fort and will return to Delhi after lunch here. His visit to Agra is considered very important for tourism and relations with Denmark.

Brij’s artists enamored at Airforce Station
At the Air Force Station, the Danish PM was welcomed by the artists of Brij with a peacock dance. After this his convoy reached Hotel Oberoi Amar Vilas near Taj Mahal East Gate. Now after the welcome at Taj East Gate, he and the guests accompanying him are being seen with full security in the presence of officials of the Archaeological Department, CISF and administration.
After this she will go to see Agra Fort at 10:30. After visiting the fort, she will return to the hotel at 11:50 am and leave for Kheria Airport in Agra at 1:30 pm after lunch. He will be given farewell at Kheria Airport and at 2 o’clock his plane will take off for Delhi.

Ban on entry of general tourists
Special security arrangements have been made in the city on the arrival of the Danish Prime Minister. The responsibility of security has been given to four IPS officers and 17 COs at different places. One thousand security personnel have been deployed for security. No heavy vehicles are being allowed to enter the city from 4 am on Sunday. On Sunday, the traffic system has been changed due to VIP arrival.

The Taj Mahal is to be opened only 2 hours after sunrise on Sunday morning and after that the fort is also closed for more than one and a half hours.
