So far, more than 23 crore 78 lakh people in the world have been affected by COVID-19. This virus has snatched the lives of more than 48 lakh people. The cases of COVID-19 are now decreasing in India (Coronavirus India Report). The total number of infected has exceeded three crore 39 lakhs. Vaccination campaign against corona is going on in India. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday, the number of corona infected in the country has increased to 3,39,71,607. In the 24 hours ended Monday (from 8 am on Sunday to 8 am on Monday), 18,132 new cases of corona have been reported. In this one day, 21,563 patients have been cured. During this, 193 corona infected have died. So far more than three crore 32 lakh patients have been cured. So far more than 4.50 lakh people have lost their lives due to Corona. The current number of corona cases is more than two lakh 27 thousand. There were no deaths due to corona virus in Punjab and Haryana on Monday, while 26 new cases of infection were reported in both the states.
Himachal Pradesh has registered 139 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. According to news agency ANI, the state’s health bulletin states that there are 1,237 active cases in the state and the total number of cases is 2,20,618. In the last 24 hours, two people have died of corona in the state. With this, the death toll from Kovid in Himachal has increased to 3,690.
With the death of nine more patients from Kovid-19 in West Bengal, the death toll rose to 18,914 on Monday. According to the news agency language, it has been informed in the bulletin of the state health department that, three people died in Nadia while two people died in North 24 Parganas. One patient each died in Kolkata, South 24 Parganas, Hooghly and Darjeeling districts. With the arrival of 606 new cases of infection in the state, the total number of epidemic cases has gone up to 15,76,943. The number of patients under treatment in the state is 7,649.
With the arrival of 10 new cases of Kovid-19 in Sikkim on Monday, the total number of infected in the state increased to 31,677. PTI-Bhasha has given this information. According to the bulletin of the state health department, the death toll from the corona virus in the state remains at 388 and no one has died of the infection in the last 24 hours. There are now 235 under-treatment cases in the state, while 30,736 patients have been cured of the disease. The infection rate and recovery rate in the state are 4.6 percent and 98 percent respectively.
On Monday, 1,736 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Maharashtra, which is the lowest number of infections reported in a single day in the last 17 months. With this, the death toll in the state has reached 1,39,578 due to the loss of 36 more patients. An official of the Health Department told PTI-language that the total number of infection cases in Maharashtra has increased to 65,79,608. The state has recorded the lowest number of infections since 16 May 2020. At that time 1,606 new cases of infection were registered.
