New Delhi, ANI. Every day more recoveries than new cases are being recorded in the country. In the last 24 hours, more than 15 thousand new cases of infection have been registered and during this time more than 22 thousand people have been cured of the infection. At the same time, a day before this, more than 14 thousand new cases were reported, while the figure of those who were cured was more than 23 thousand. According to the report released by the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, 15,823 cases have been reported and 22,844 recoveries have been registered. At the same time, 226 people have died due to infection during this period.

After the latest cases, the total number of corona infection cases in the country has reached 3,40,01,743. Out of this, 3,33,42,901 people have been cured of corona and 4,51,189 people have died. Apart from this, 2,07,653 corona patients are currently undergoing treatment.
A day earlier, after 224 days i.e. seven and a half months, the lowest number of 14,313 new cases of corona infection were found in the country. These include about seven thousand cases in Kerala and about two thousand cases in Maharashtra. There has been a steep decline in new cases in both the states as compared to the previous days. According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, 181 people had died in the last one day.
