The fight against the corona epidemic in the country has intensified. The work of installing anti-Covid-19 vaccine in all the states is being done under a mission. At the same time, the central government is taking special care that there is no shortage of vaccines because if there is sufficient availability of vaccines, then only then the pace of vaccination will accelerate further. For this, the Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday that the Center has so far provided more than 97.79 crore doses of Kovid-19 vaccines to the states and union territories.

The Health Ministry said that more than 8.43 crore doses are currently available with the states and union territories, which they can use. The ministry said that due to the increase in the availability of vaccines, the vaccination campaign has accelerated. According to the ministry, if the states and union territories inform about the availability of vaccines in advance, then it can lead to a better plan and the supply of vaccines is also organized. The ministry said that so far more than 97.79 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been made available to the states and union territories under the free and direct purchase category. Also, the Center has been supporting the states and union territories by providing them free of cost vaccines, as part of the nationwide immunization campaign.

Total vaccination figure crosses 96 crores

Corona Vaccination campaign is going on fast in the country. The central government told the states that they will meet the target of 100 crore doses in the next few days. In this episode, 50,63,845 vaccine doses were given in a day, with which the total vaccination figure in the country has crossed 96 crores. Meanwhile, the good news is that in some states, women are at par with men in corona vaccination. If a report is to be believed, in some states, there has not been much difference in the statistics of female vaccinations compared to men in terms of vaccination. In fact, the gender gap in Covid-19 vaccination has disappeared in 11 Indian states, but it is still necessary to increase the participation of women in vaccination in states with high Human Development Index such as Maharashtra, Delhi and Goa.
