Crime – Body of missing villager found hanging

Shahjahanpur. Ram Khilwan (45), a resident of village Kailah under Sehramau Southern police station area, was missing since October 12. On Friday, his body was found hanging from a babool tree with the help of a rope near Kursehi village.
About a week ago, Ramprakash, a resident of village Kailah, beat up his wife Meera Devi and injured her by chewing her nose. The woman was admitted to the Government Medical College. Meera’s brother-in-law, Ram Khilavan, had left the house on October 12, asking to go to the Government Medical College with food. After this, Ram Khilavan neither reached the Government Medical College nor returned to his home. Since then the family was looking for him.
On Friday morning, the villagers saw the dead body of Ram Khilavan hanging from the acacia tree with the help of a rope near Kursehi. On coming to know about this, the family reached the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the dead body and sent it for post-mortem. According to son Amarjeet, the family has no doubts about anyone. Police is waiting for the post-mortem report.
