Achalganj. The body of a 40-year-old unidentified youth was found on the Unnao-Rae Bareli railway track on Friday. The police sent the body to the mortuary after not being recognized. Police shared the photo of the body on social media. Seeing the photo on social media, the wife, who reached the post-mortem house on Saturday, identified the body.
Rajendra (40), a resident of Raukarna village of Makhi, was married in Subbakheda of Achalganj. After marriage, he started living in in-laws’ house. He left home on Friday morning. In the afternoon, his body was found on the railway track near Bether village, 500 meters ahead of Achalganj railway station, three km from the village. The villagers were shocked to see the mutilated bodies. Mahesh, an employee posted at the railway booth, informed the police. Bether outpost in-charge Rajesh Kumar Dixit tried to identify the deceased by calling the people of the nearby village but without success. Police took the help of social media to identify the body.
