Crime In Raipur Arrested for stealing almonds cinnamon and mustard by breaking the lock of Godown

Crime In Raipur: Raipur (Naiduniya Representative). The police have arrested a total of four accused, including a former employee, who broke the lock of Godown located at Boriyakala in Mujhagan police station of Raipur, Chhattisgarh’s capital. The accused had carried out the theft of goods worth more than nine lakh rupees including cumin, almond, cinnamon and mustard from Godown. Police took advance action by arresting former employees Naresh Sahu alias Chumman, Neelkanth Sahu alias Golu, Omprakash Sen and Puran Lal Sahu alias Raju.

The complainant Sushil Kumar Chirania had lodged a report of theft in Godown on October 1 at Mujhagan police station. The applicant has a godown of groceries in Shubh Vyapar Vihar, Boriyakala. A day before the incident, he had gone home after closing the godown in the evening. When he came the next morning, he saw both the locks of Godown were missing. When I saw inside Godown, 30 kg cumin, 28 packets of mustard, 40 kg cinnamon, 50 kg badamgiri were not there. Unknown thieves broke the lock in the godown of the applicant and stole the said goods.

Based on the report, the police started investigation with the help of cyber cell. Information was also collected regarding the employees working in the traceability of unknown accused and the employees who had left the work in the past. Meanwhile, information was received about Naresh Sahu alias Chumman, a resident of Gogaon Gudhiyari, who had left work in Godown of the applicant, that he has kept sacks of cumin, almond and cinnamon in his house.

On this, on the basis of the evidence received in connection with the incident by the team members, after arresting Naresh Sahu alias Chumman and strictly interrogating him, he along with his accomplices accepted to carry out the theft. The accused were looking for a customer to sell the stolen goods.
