Five-month-old Ayush had gone missing from Kalliya Kajmpur village on the night of October 3 when he was sleeping on a cot with mother Kanyavati. On information, the police took Ayush’s father Nem Singh and Kanyavati to Hathras. Seeing the child, he claimed that it was his Ayush. On this, the Child Welfare Committee had said to hand over the child only after matching the DNA test report.
On Wednesday, Kunwargaon police took Nem Singh and his wife Kanyavati to Hathras. It is being told that samples will be taken for DNA test of the couple in Hathras on Thursday.
