The Ministry of Culture on Thursday issued new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for conducting cultural events with complete safety. The ministry has made it mandatory for artists and other staff to have a valid COVID negative certificate. Accordingly, a touchless digital payment medium may be used for ticket payment or for issuance or for enquiry. For contact tracing, the contact information of the customers will have to be entered at the time of booking the ticket. Apart from this, there will be a ban on organizing such programs in the Containment Zone.

The guidelines make it mandatory for spectators to wear masks and ensure a physical distance of at least six feet at all times. Organizers will have to sanitize the venue before and after the event. They will have to arrange for sanitizer at the entry and exit points of the site.

This test should not be older than seven days from the date of the event. Along with this, it will be mandatory to wear masks and follow social distancing.
