Bareilly, Jnn. Cyber Crime in Badaun: Cyber thugs are keeping an eye on your accounts, credit cards and ATMs. You didn’t make a mistake that they cheated you. The same happened with the clerk of a school in Bilsi. After deducting eight hundred rupees from the credit card, the clerk took out the helpline number of the bank from Google and called on it. After some time a link was sent from there, on clicking which one lakh rupees were cleared from the credit card of the clerk. The clerk has complained about the matter to the cyber cell police.
Atul Kumar, a resident of Bilsi, is posted as a clerk in a school operated in the town. A few days back, he had got IndusInd Bank’s credit card made. Haven’t bought any of it yet. On Monday, suddenly a message came on his mobile, in which information was given about deducting eight hundred rupees from the credit card. Disturbed by this, Atul took the help of Google search engine to find the helpline number of IndusInd Bank.
Tell your problem by talking to the number found from the Google search engine. After this, he got a call from a number, in which information was given to send the link on WhatsApp. Some information was updated from them as soon as they clicked on the link. As soon as Atul saved the information after filling it. Shortly after this, another Rs 1 lakh disappeared from Atul’s credit card. Atul was blown away when he got the message.
He immediately called on the same number, but that number was switched off. After this, Atul lodged his complaint on the helpline number of cyber fraud. After this, after going to the cyber cell of the district, gave Tahrir and other information about the case. Cyber cell team has started action in the matter. Told that if he has come on time, it is expected that his money will be returned.
