Former India wicket-keeper batsman Deepdas Gupta has selected his favorite Indian playing XI team ahead of the great match between India and Pakistan in Dubai on October 24. Deepdas has kept KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan along with Rohit Sharma as the opening pair. At the same time, captain Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav and wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant have been given a place in the middle order. Apart from them, all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya (on the basis of bowling fitness) have controlled the batting depth of the team.
Whether Afghanistan cricket team will play in T20 World Cup 2021, ICC gave a big update
Deepdas Gupta said in a video released on his YouTube channel, ‘I will not mind KL and Ishaan for opening with Rohit. I will pick Virat at number three, Surya at number four, Rishabh Pant at number five and Ravindra Jadeja at number six. Apart from this, there will be Hardik Pandya at number seven, but he needs to bowl. This is my biggest question whether Hardik is bowling or not?. But anyway hopefully he will bowl.
It is believed that Rahul can come with Rohit as an opener. He kept the Orange Cap with him for most of the IPL 2021. Kishan, on the other hand, was picked in the team as a backup opener. Kishan was on the verge of losing his place after a slow start for Mumbai Indians in the UAE but has made a strong comeback with his last two innings of the tournament.
