Jagran Correspondent, Dehradun. Dehradun Three youths who were creating a ruckus on Rajpur Road in the capital Dehradun on Thursday night beat up the policemen who came to stop them. They also tore the uniforms of the police personnel. Dalanwala Kotwali police has registered a case against the three on the complaint of constable Tejpal Singh.
Complainant constable Tejpal Singh said that he was on patrol with constable Mohit Saini at around 11.30 pm on Thursday night. Meanwhile, three youths were seen creating ruckus on Rajpur Road. When he stopped the three from creating a ruckus on the road, he clashed with them. Policemen said that Rajat Walia resident Mount View Colony Sahastradhara Road, Varun resident Manak Vihar Sahastradhara Road and Amit Aswal resident of Doon Vihar Jakhan Rajpur Road assaulted them. The accused also tore his uniform.
According to the police, the three youths were under the influence of alcohol and were creating a ruckus in the state of intoxication. Constable Tejpal Singh called more force from the police station, after which the accused were arrested. Inspector Dalanwala NK Bhatt said that the three arrested accused were presented in the court on Friday, from where they have been sent to jail. He said that all the three accused are sales managers in private banks.

The broken bridge of Jakhan river in Ranipokhari is now on the target of thieves. Thieves are stealing iron railings and other materials from this bridge. A 57-year-old bridge over the Jakhan river in Ranipokhari was broken on August 27. After the bridge collapsed where there was a lot of politics on it. The work on the new bridge has not started yet.
