The Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular compact SUV cars in the Indian automobile market. This car is in great demand not only in the Indian market but also in foreign markets. This is one of the major reasons why the waiting period for this car is increasing in the market.
8 months waiting period
At present, there is a waiting period of up to 8 months for this car. The company’s supply chain is also getting interrupted due to the shortfall of the semiconductor chip. For this reason, the waiting period for this car has increased to 8 months.
Most in demand for these variants
The SX and SX(O) variants are in high demand and hence have a waiting period of 6 to 8 months. Currently, the Hyundai Creta is available in E, EX, S, SX Executive, SX and SX(O) trims.
The Creta has been launched in three engine options, which are taken from the Kia Seltos. These include 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine and 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines generate 113 bhp power and 144 Nm peak torque. The turbo-petrol engine generates 138 bhp power and 242 Nm torque. All three engines are BS6 compliant.
The cabin of the Creta is also new and premium as compared to the earlier. There are two color options available for the interior. One is black-beige dual-tone color and the other is full black color interior. Inside the SUV, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, new multi-functional flat-bottom steering wheel, leather seats and 7-inch digital instrument cluster have been given.
