Police arrested accused of vehicle theft.

Dovda police station of Dungarpur district has arrested two vicious vehicle thieves. Sanjay, a laborer in Gujarat, formed a gang with his village mechanic friend Dhaneshwar. In two months, both the miscreants carried out 5 bike theft incidents. At present the accused are being interrogated. The accused were in the process of selling these stolen bikes and sold the parts of the bikes which were not sold.

SHO Kamlesh Chaudhary said that accused Sanjay (21) son Narayan Roat and Dhaneshwar (30) son Mogji Roat resident Undarda were arrested in the case of vehicle theft. During interrogation, both the accused have confessed to committing five incidents of bike theft. On the information of the informer, the police arrested both of them. Accused Sanjay used to work as a laborer in Gujarat and is also addicted to drugs. The accused Dhaneshwar is a vehicle mechanic. Sanjay plans to steal the bike and takes the mechanic Dhaneshwar with him. After this, both the friends would first do a recce of the bike at a deserted place. Sanjay would first sit on the bike and if no one is seen around, then he would put the master key in the bike. As soon as he got the key, he used to get scared after getting the opportunity. Police is interrogating the accused in the case, in which many more revelations can be made.

The accused used to remove the number plate after stealing the bike. After this, by rotating the grinder machine on the chassis number of the bike, those numbers were also erased so that no one could catch them. After the theft, they used to sell these bikes at cheap prices for 5 to 10 thousand rupees. After this, the bikers whose buyers were not found, were trying to sell their parts, but the police caught the accused. Police also recovered five stolen bikes from the possession of the accused.
