The nine-day Navratri celebrations began at the India Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020 and a colorful musical evening was organized to mark the occasion. The mega event with a presence in 192 countries has witnessed over 4,10,000 people in the first ten days.

Sudhanshu Raj, a classically trained singer and winner of popular Indian music reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma’, started the Navratri celebrations with his melodious voice at the India Pavilion on Sunday.

Gunveena Chadha, Director, India Pavilion said that they want to share the spirit of the festival with a wider audience. An official release issued by Dubai Expo 2020 officials quoted Chadha as saying that it is a major festival of India and we are celebrating it here to showcase our culture to the world.
