Meerut, Jn. A three-day career counseling booth was set up by Smt. Kamala Devi Vidyapeeth on behalf of Information, Employment and Career Counseling Cell in Shaheed Mangal Pandey PG College on Friday. In which the girl students were given information about applying for B.Ed and BTC and the entrance exam. He took advantage of this by participating in the booth organized for the career counseling of the girl students. During this, Dr. Bharti Dixit, Convener of College Career Counseling Cell, Co-Convener Dr. Amar Jyoti, Dr. Satyapal Singh Rana and Dr. Anita Goswami were also present.
Campaign launched in the village: On Friday, on behalf of Child Line, an awareness campaign was launched in village Lutfullahpur Buxar located on Qila Road, ‘Bole the silence and speak openly’. Also masks were distributed. In the awareness campaign, the child line number 1098 was told in detail to the girls and women. Along with this, women were also given information about government schemes. Child line director Anita Rana told that the teachers in the primary school of the village and the children in the village have been made child friends. Who will apprise Childline about the incidents happening in the village and surrounding areas. Nipun Kaushik, Ajay Kumar and Principal Sunita Panwar were also present.
Demand for cleanliness and installation of street lights in markets: In view of the festivals, traders have demanded cleanliness and repair of street lights in the cantonment area. The delegation of the Indian Board of Trade gave a memorandum to the DM’s office regarding this demand. District President Sachin Chopra said that due to Navratri and Dussehra, there is a crowd in the markets, in such a situation, chaotic elements have also become active. Traders demanded to increase police patrolling in the markets. Rishabh Jain, Manoj Sharma, Rajat Mendiratta, Naveen Bansal, Vansh Kapoor etc. were present.
