India’s Manu Bhaker won four gold medals in the event. At the same time, 14-year-old Namaya Kapoor also surprised her experienced shooters by winning gold in the 25m pistol event.
India had won a total of 40 medals out of 114 at the World Championships, including 16 gold, 15 silver and nine bronze. At the same time, America was in second place. He won a total of 21 medals including seven gold, eight silver and six bronze.
It was the first multi-discipline shooting event since the Tokyo Olympics. About 370 athletes from 32 countries took part in the Junior Shooting Championship.
