Karnal. On Tuesday, the family refused to conduct a post-mortem in the case of shooting and killing the liquor contract worker Monu near Chundipur. In Kalpana Chawla Medical College, the family accused the liquor contractor Bablu Rana that he did not pay Monu’s full salary for two years. He expressed doubts on two employees of the liquor contractor. The family had also warned to block the GT Road.
Sadar police station in-charge Tarsem Kamboj reached the spot and assured the family of appropriate action. In the afternoon, the relatives conducted the post-mortem of Monu’s body and took the dead body to UP for rites.
Monu, a resident of village Barsi in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, used to work with liquor contractor Bablu Rana for nearly two years. He was a master on the contract of Chundipur liquor. He was shot and killed on Monday night. During this, the gate of the liquor contract was locked from inside and the police had also recovered about 12 thousand rupees from the contract.
Raju, the elder brother of the deceased Monu, told that Monu was not married. He used to work with Bablu Rana for two years. He used to harass her and did not pay her full salary. Monu’s salary was 7 thousand rupees per month. They suspect that two employees Kamal and Mitta used to come every day to get the day’s salary from that contract, they did not come on Monday. Because of this, they suspect that they may also have a hand in this incident. Police believe that the incident may have happened due to some enmity.
The post-mortem of the dead Monu’s body has been handed over to the relatives. At present, a case of murder has been registered against unknown. Investigation is being done on the complaint of the family members. Both those who have been accused will be questioned.
