Missing youth’s car found parked on roadside, fear of kidnapping
Bijnor. The son of a cooperative society employee suddenly went missing, whose car windows were found broken and parked on the side of the road. There is a suspicion of kidnapping of the youth. There was a stir in the police throughout the day. The fields were searched. Flying a drone also searched for the young man but, no clue was found.
26-year-old Shubham son Veer Singh, resident of village Gangauda Sheikh of Haldaur police station area, had come to Bijnor on Friday afternoon to get the car serviced. While leaving for home from Bijnor at 5.30 pm, he talked to his wife Deepa on the phone. After this Shubham did not reach home till late night. When the family members got worried, they started searching. Late in the night, Shubham’s car was found parked on the roadside near Jalalpur Chhoia village on Bijnor-Jhalu road. The windows of the car were broken. Shubham’s mobile and purse were found lying in the car itself. The family members are expressing the possibility of kidnapping due to enmity. The family members informed the police. SP City Dr. Raveen Ranjan, CO City Kuldeep Gupta along with the police of city Kotwali and Haldaur police station reached the spot. The police tried to extract the CDR by taking possession of the mobile. It was told that Shubham’s father is an employee in the cooperative society. However, Shubham does farming while staying in the village.
The police had returned in the night but, on Saturday morning, the police started searching again in the forest. Drone was seen flying. Along with the police, the villagers also kept searching the fields. SP Dr. Dharamveer Singh also visited the spot and inspected it. There, information was obtained from the family members. SP Dr. Dharamveer Singh says that a case has been registered. Several aspects are being investigated. Four teams have been deployed to trace the youth.
