Dhoni has joined Team India after making his team Chennai Super Kings the winner of this season in the UAE leg of IPL 2021. Many other players who played the T20 World Cup for Team India this time have already joined the Indian camp and now Dhoni has joined the team along with other Indian players after CSK’s victory.

The Indian team will start its campaign against Pakistan in this World Cup under the captaincy of captain Virat Kohli and a league match will be played between the two countries on October 24. Before this, the Indian team also has to play two warm-up matches against the two best teams so that the Indian players will have a good chance of their preparation before the match against Pakistan. The Indian team will take on England in the warm-up match on October 18 and against Australia on October 20.
