The arrested accused are residents of Bahuara village under Gaurichak police station in Patna.

Patna Police has arrested two robbers on Sunday. On October 7, both had robbed a pickup van loaded with mustard and refined oil worth lakhs of rupees. The robbers were in the car. The robbers stopped the driver showing the pistol and tied his hands and feet and threw him in the Janipur area. With the help of local people, the driver reached the police. Then the information about the robbery was given to Jakkanpur police station. After this, the police started action by registering an FIR.

One criminal’s name is Amit Kumar and the other is Mani Shankar Kumar. Both are between 25 and 30 years old. Both of them are residents of Bahuara village under Gaurichak police station in Patna. Acting swiftly in this case of robbery, the police team has recovered two criminals from Bahuara village as well as the robbed pickup and oil worth lakhs of rupees in it. Along with this, the Dzire car and Bolero pickup used for the robbery have also been seized.

Here, according to City SP East Jitendra Kumar, this gang of robbers is very big. Many criminals of Patna and Nalanda are members of this gang. Amit and Mani Shankar are being questioned about the rest of the criminals. Their criminal history is also being investigated.
