Police Fired On A Car Running At High Speed, One Person Injured

Jodhpur. In Ratanada, when the police tried to stop a car, the miscreants drove the car at high speed and on Wednesday evening, both of them had an encounter on Banad Road. In response to two rounds of fire by miscreants near Digadi Fanta on Jaipur Highway, a youth died due to police firing. There was a sensation in the city.

According to the police, at 6.45 pm, information was received about the presence of Lovely Kandara, a resident of Harijan Basti in Nagori Gate police station area, along with some youths in a car near Ratanada vegetable market. When the police reached the spot when Lovely Kandara was wanted, the youths drove the car away. The police tried to stop, but they started running at high speed through Subhash Chowk, Jodhpur Central Jail in front of Krishna Mandir.

Ratanada Police Officer Leelaram followed in a private car. The miscreants drove the car towards the police line towards Banad Road. On the way, two rounds of fire were fired at the police riding in a private car. In response, the police also fired six shots at the miscreants’ car. One of these bullets hit near the chest of Lovely Kandara riding in the car and the other bullet in the hand.

The driver stopped the car as soon as Lovely was injured. By then the Banad police station also reached the spot. Three youths in the car were taken into custody. While the seriously injured Lovely was sent to Mathuradas Mathur Hospital, she died on the way. The hand of SHO Lilaram was also injured. Most of the police officers of the district came to the spot. FSL also picked up evidence from the spot.
