Speaking to news agency ANI, a source said, “Dravid has agreed and nothing can be better than this. Keeping Vikram (Rathore) as the batting coach, the rest of the posts will now be looked into. The Indian team is currently in a state of change with young players coming into the team and they have all worked with Dravid and this will make it even easier for Indian cricket on its path to becoming world champions.”

The source added, “Jay (Shah) and Sourav (Ganguly) spoke to him and it was only about Dravid’s reassurance because it requires a lot of time because you have to work continuously. But things went well and Dravid had always been interested in Indian cricket and that made things easier because when someone like him guides the boys, the team will do well.”
