Rajnandgaon News: Car carrying cattle for slaughter entered the field uncontrollably

Rajnandgaon/Churia (Representative of New Zealand). Now smuggling of animals has started taking place in VIP vehicles as well. A similar case has come to light in Patekohra of Chichola area. When the VIP car went out of control and got stuck in the field. When the Chichola police reached the spot on the information of the villagers, the car was stuck in the middle of the field. The rear seat of the car has come out. The cover is covered with cow dung. The police are suspecting that animals were being smuggled in the car. At present, the car driver is out of police custody. Police is investigating after registering a case.

The incident happened in the intervening night of Mon-Tues at around one o’clock. When the VIP car number MH 43R 2925 passed behind the Patekohra check post. Then some people got suspicious. The car was going towards Maharashtra. The car accelerated after crossing the check post. Some youths also followed the car. Seeing this, the driver of the car, driving at high speed, got uncontrolled in Patekohra and entered the field. The car has trampled on the crops of the field. The car could not get out due to paddy crop and soil being wet. After which the driver fled leaving the car there. There are no cattle in the car. Police are suspecting that the driver of the car may have fled with the animals. The police have interrogated the surrounding villagers including the check post, in which it has come to the fore that the VIP car passes through different routes every night for the last few months.

Here even after the arrival of the police, Patekohra farmer Chainram did not allow the car to be taken out of the field. Farmer Chandas said that first arrest the accused and get compensation from the car owner for spoiling the crop. Only after that get the car out of the field. On the demand of the farmer, the police have not confiscated the car. Police said that complaints of theft of animals have increased in the area for a few months. Chichola Police Chowk in-charge RS Sengar said that Dial 112 team reached the spot as soon as the information was received. But the farmer has demanded compensation from the vehicle owner. Due to this the car has not been taken out of the field.
