The film proved to be the biggest hit of 1992 as it remained in theaters for almost 25 weeks. The amount earned by the film in that era is equal to 100 crores today. But despite this, the film journey of Ronit Roy was not special. Now in an interview, Ronit Roy has spoken openly about his career and has told that even after the debut film was a hit, he was unemployed for many months.

Actor Ronit Roy told during the interview that his first hit was the huge hit which lasted on theaters for 25 weeks. In today’s era, it means a film earning 100 to 150 crores. Today, after doing such a great film, it is bound to get good offers for any actor. But Ronit Roy did not get a single call for 3 months despite such a hit film. He was unemployed for almost 3 months. After this the films he did proved to be his wrong decisions. Which they regret till today.

Joined Television in 2000
Ronit Roy made a new beginning in the new century. And he joined television. He joined Balaji Telefilm and appeared in the serial. After a decade, he returned to films again and everyone liked his blows. Ronit Roy considers the show of Kasautii Zindagii Kay as the turning point of his career. At the same time, soon Ronit Roy will share the screen with Ranbir Kapoor. He is going to be seen in Shamshera which will also feature Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
