The T20 World Cup (ICC T20 World Cup 2021) is going to start. The hosts face Ghana in Rwanda on Saturday 16 October in the sub-regional Africa qualifiers for the T20 World Cup. Hosts Rwanda batted first and scored 153 runs in 20 overs with the help of Eric Niomugabo’s 48 off 34 balls. In response, Ghana easily achieved this target losing just 5 wickets in 20 overs and won by 5 wickets. Captain Obed Harvey played an excellent innings for Ghana and returned unbeaten on 54 runs in 41 balls.

The real hero of Ghana’s victory was all-rounder Samson Avia, who first troubled Rwanda’s batsmen badly with his deadly off-spin and prevented them from scoring big. After that, the team got the victory from the bad start in the batting. The first thing was bowling.

Apart from Samson and Obed, Devendra Singh, who came down the order, also batted vigorously and scored an unbeaten 47 runs in just 30 balls, hitting 4 sixes and 2 fours.
