Speeding Vehicle Hit Two Bikes, One Killed

Balrampur. The drunken speeding driver hit the bike riders at two different places. In the incident, a young man, a lawyer by profession, died on the spot while three others were seriously injured. The injured have been referred to the Higher Center in the district hospital as their condition became critical. The police is investigating the matter by registering a case on the complaint of the brother of the deceased.
Raman Kashyap Advocate (35), a resident of Bhagwatiganj in the city, was going to attend the Mundan ceremony at his in-laws’ Tulsipur at around eight o’clock on Thursday. Raman’s bike was hit by a speeding vehicle coming from Tulsipur’s side near Laukhawa on the National Highway.
Raman died on the spot in the incident. In the second incident, the vehicle hit three bike riders near Chapurwa village on the same Buddhist circuit. Baburam (28), Shankar (32) and W (30) were seriously injured in the incident. According to the people present at the spot, the driver of the vehicle was speeding and drunk.
The team of UP-112 reached the spot after getting information about the incident and took everyone to the District Memorial Hospital by ambulance. The injured have been referred to the Higher Center in the district hospital as their condition became critical. Inspector-in-Charge Chandrahas Mishra said that a case has been registered on the complaint of Murali Kashyap, elder brother of the deceased Raman Kashyap. The vehicle has been taken into custody. The matter is being investigated.
