Delhi : In the T20 World Cup, Team India will start its campaign against Pakistan in Dubai on October 24. Prior to this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is constantly reshuffling the T20 World Cup squad.
The BCCI has already made Jammu and Kashmir fast bowler Umran Malik a part of the team. Umran Malik plays IPL for Hyderabad.
Now the BCCI has also included two young players who performed well in the IPL in the team playing the World Cup. The names of these two players are Venkatesh Iyer and Avesh Khan.

After the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021), the BCCI has asked Delhi Capitals fast bowler Avesh Khan to stay in the UAE and join India’s T20 World Cup team as a net bowler. At the same time, Kolkata opener Venkatesh Iyer has also been asked to stay in the UAE.

The 24-year-old Avesh is the second fast bowler, after Jammu and Kashmir pacer Umran Malik, to be asked to join the team. According to sources, Avesh Khan can get a place in the list of standby players.
Avesh Khan is second only to Harshal Patel (32 wickets) in the list of highest wicket-takers this IPL season. He bowls at an average speed of 142 to 145 kmph.
