Basic Education Officer Akhand Pratap Singh has asked the officials to investigate the matter and take strict action against the culprits. He said that cognizance of the matter has been taken and an inquiry will be conducted in this regard. He said that strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
The government has ordered an inquiry after a video surfaced of a student cleaning a teacher’s car in a primary school in Secunderabad block of Bulandshahr. In the video, a student of a school in Faridpur village of Secunderabad block is seen cleaning his teacher’s car.
The Yogi government took notice when the video went viral on social media. Basic Education Officer Akhand Pratap Singh has asked the officials to investigate the matter and take strict action against the culprits. Talking to PTI, he said that he has taken cognizance of the matter and an inquiry will be conducted in this regard. He said that strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. He said that if this is true then it is very worrying. Children come to schools to study and not to work as teachers. It is also worth noting that the child is a student of primary class.
Lakhimpur has no effect in Bahraich: ADG
The police administration in Bahraich district is taking special vigil after the Lakhimpur violence on October 3 killed eight people, including four farmers. High officials are also constantly active here. ADG Akhil Kumar met the chairman of Gurdwara Management Committee and other prominent people here on Tuesday. He claimed that the unfortunate incident in Lakhimpur has no effect in Bahraich. All sections including the Sikh society here are standing with the administration.
Among those killed in the Lakhimpur violence, two farmers from the Sikh community were residents of Bahraich district. On the question of house arrest of people going to Lakhimpur, the ADG said that the government itself is working towards justice in a speedy manner. Whenever such incidents happen, some chaotic elements can take advantage of the opportunity to disturb the law and order. For this we have to take necessary precautionary steps.
Significantly, farmers organizations and political parties are constantly visiting the homes of two Sikh farmers of Bahraich, who were killed in the Lakhimpur violence. The BJP has expressed its condolences by sending a delegation of the Minorities Commission. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has also come here. Priyanka Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, BSP General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh along with all the leaders of Punjab have expressed their condolences by meeting the families of the victims.
