Trader’s driver shot dead in Rohtak, dead body found inside car

Jagran Correspondent, Rohtak: The driver of a polythene merchant of Gurugram was shot dead in Rohtak. Who came to give the sample of polythene. The driver’s body was found lying in a pool of blood on the back seat of the car on the Shimli-Bhabhewa road on Thursday morning. On getting information, police and relatives reached the spot. The Shivaji Colony police station has registered a case against the accused.

30-year-old Sunil, originally a resident of Udaipur Kalan village of Etawah district of UP, used to work as a driver near Gurugram’s polythene trader Thakur Prasad Shukla for nearly eight years. Who lived on rent in a nearby village Khataula. On Wednesday, Sunil went out in Rohtak to give samples of polythene in a car. Who had to give this sample to a person, but in the evening Sunil’s number was not contacted. Since then the search for him was started. On Thursday morning some passers-by were passing on the Shimli-Bhabhewa road, who saw the car parked on the way. Sunil’s body was lying in a pool of blood on the back seat of the car, after which he was shot dead in the chest. On coming to know, Additional SP Krishna Kumar and Shivaji Colony police station in-charge Inspector Balwant Singh reached the spot. The spot was inspected, but no such evidence was found to make it clear that the murder was carried out here. It is feared that after killing at some other place, later the body was brought here along with the car and left. On getting the information, Sunil’s father Shivratan and other relatives also reached the spot. After which the body was sent for post-mortem. Call details will reveal the secret of death

After the murder of Sunil, the police is investigating the whole matter thoroughly. Call details of his mobile are also being checked. So that it can be known to whom he spoke last. Police believe that important information can be found after checking the call details.

The car was parked since Wednesday evening, no one paid attention

According to the villagers, this car was parked on the Shimli-Bhabhewa road since Wednesday evening, but no one paid any attention to it. Even in the morning, when the car was found there, the villagers got suspicious and looked inside the car. After that the whole matter came to know and the police was informed. It is suspected that Sunil was murdered on Wednesday evening itself.

Mobile found broken, dead body was in the back seat

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the murder was carried out due to some enmity, as there was no robbery with him. Police have also recovered Rs 23,000 and other items from the spot. However, Sunil’s mobile was broken. Due to which it seems that Sunil must have had a lot of tussle with the accused. Sunil must have tried to save his life, but he could not succeed. Sunil’s father Shivratan Singh told that he got a call at around seven in the evening. On which it was told that Sunil had gone to Rohtak, but there is no trace of him. Since then the search was on for him. In the morning they got information about Sunil’s murder. Shivratan told that he has two sons. The elder son was Sudhish and the younger was Sunil.


The murder was carried out due to some rivalry. There is no case of robbery. It has come to the fore in the investigation that after killing at some other place, the dead body has been brought here along with the car and left. A case has been registered on the complaint of Sunil’s father.
