Three people died in road accidents in Hisar on Thursday night. The dead include BSF personnel, tehsil employees and kiln workers. One accident happened on Chandigarh Highway and two in Narnaund area. In these accidents, BSF jawan Rahul Kumar, resident of Sarsaud, Aman, a resident of Khandakhedi, and Rahul, a resident of Banda, UP, died.

Regarding the accident on the Chandigarh highway, Rishilal (51) told that he is retired from the army and is currently the SPO of Haryana Police. Her elder son Rahul is posted in BSF in Shillong. Rahul had come home after a month’s leave and had left home on October 13 to go to Shillong. Late in the evening, when Rahul got a call from some unknown number to his family members, he told that his mobile was lost somewhere and his ticket was also in it. On this, his family members said that come back home, get a new phone and get a ticket again and leave. While returning home in the evening, an unknown vehicle hit Rahul near the canal bridge on the highway. Rahul was seriously injured in this collision and he was taken to the hospital by ambulance. By the time Rahul’s family members reached the hospital, Rahul had died in the hospital.

In the second accident, Khandakhedi resident Hariom Sharma told that his 26-year-old nephew was working in Aman tehsil. On Thursday evening, Aman was returning from duty on his bike after duty. When he reached near the chicken farm near Bass, his bike was hit by some unknown car. Aman was seriously injured in this collision. The injured Aman was admitted to Jindal Hospital in Hisar where he died during treatment.

Regarding the third accident, Shyam Lal, a resident of Banda, UP, told that he works as a laborer at the Bajrang brick kiln in Kaprao. On Thursday evening, he along with his friend Rahul had gone on a bike to collect goods from Kapado village. When he was returning from the village in the evening, a speeding car hit his bike near the bus stand. He and Rahul got injured in this accident. Both the injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment, where Rahul died in the night. Police have started investigation by registering cases in all three cases.
