An uncontrollable car rammed into a bike coming from the front on Tuesday morning near Sutarhi village of Muhammadabad Gohna Kotwali area of ​​Mau district. In the accident, the bike driver died on the spot, while the bike rider succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Angered by the incident, people blocked the road. Traffic was disrupted for 15 minutes due to this.

On the other hand, the agitated people removed the jam after the police arrested the accused driver, who was caught on the complaint of the deceased driver’s son and registered a case against him under the relevant sections. Neither of the two dead in the accident was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

Uncontrollable car hit both middle-aged people
Kushahamafi Sugriv (50) son Darshu of Muhammadabad Gohna Kotwali area was coming back from Azamgarh to his village at around 11 am on Tuesday with Nandlal (52) son Birbal, a resident of Abadi in Azamgarh district. He had just reached near Sutarhi village, two km away from his village, when an uncontrollable car coming from Mau’s side hit the bike. Due to a collision with a speeding car, the bike fell more than 10 meters after hitting several turns.

Sugreev died on the spot in the accident. On receiving the information, the police reached the injured Nandlal to Muhammadabad Gohna CHC. On the other hand, on getting information about the accident, the family members and a large number of villagers reached the spot and blocked the Azamgarh-Mau road along with apprehending the accused driver.

Mohammadabad Gohna SO Shailesh Singh, who was present on the spot, ended the jam by assuring strict action against the accused driver. Traffic was affected due to the conversation between the villagers and the police which lasted for about 15 minutes.

The police registered a case of negligent driving against the accused car driver Sandeep Rai son of Anil Rai resident of Astu Pura police station South Tola district Mau on the complaint of Rajan Kumar, son of the deceased Sugreev. Simultaneously, the bodies of both the dead were taken and sent for post-mortem.

Inspector Shailesh Singh, in-charge of Mohammadabad Gohna Kotwali, said that the bike driver died on the spot in a road accident, while the middle-aged rider died during treatment. Action is being taken by registering a case against the accused driver on the complaint of the son of the deceased regarding the incident.
