Two Youths Riding A Bike Are Serious After Being Hit By A Car

Mau. Two youths riding a bike were seriously injured in a face-to-face collision between a Swift car and a bike on the National Highway located at Navapura, Ghosi Kotwali, at around 7.30 pm on Sunday. After the incident, the driver fled leaving his car at the spot. The police have registered a case against the car driver in this regard.
Harindra (42 years) son Harishchandra, resident of Lakhipur village of Kotwali, along with his friend Guddu (41 years) son Bindeshwari, was going from Ghosi to his house in Lakhipur on his bike. A speeding Swift car coming from Mau’s side hit Ghosi’s near Navapura. Due to which both the bike riders were badly injured after falling.
With the help of local people, the injured were sent to a private hospital in Ghosi, where after first aid, the doctors referred them to the district hospital in view of the serious condition. Kotwal Sanjeev Kumar Dubey, who reached the spot, took possession of both the crashed vehicles and sent them to Kotwali. Ram Pravesh, brother of injured Harindra, who reached the spot after getting information, filed a complaint to register a case against the Swift car driver in connection with this incident. The police have started investigation by registering a case against the car driver in the relevant sections late at night.
