Uncontrolled Tractor Trampled Two Bikes, One Died

Gunnaur. Uncontrolled tractor-trolley trampled two bikes in village Sainjna Muslim on Meerut-Badayun State Highway. A woman died in the accident and five people including a five-month-old baby were injured. After the accident, the accused driver fled leaving the tractor-trolley on the spot. Four people seriously injured were referred to the Higher Center. The police have seized the tractor.
Vinod Kumar, a resident of Rasulpur village under Gunnaur police station area, was going to visit Mother Kali along with his wife Rajo Devi, sister-in-law Sarvesh Devi and five-month-old nephew Sachin. After reaching Sainjna Muslim, the bike stopped at the divider cut on the highway to buy goods for the child. Another bike was also coming from behind. Hariom, Indra, resident of village Nandrauli and resident of village Taharpur were small riders on the second bike. During this, an uncontrolled tractor-trolley coming from behind at high speed trampled both the bikes.
Sarvesh Devi died on the spot in the accident. Hariom, Chhote, Indra, Sachin and Rajo Devi were injured on both the bikes. After the accident, the accused driver stopped the tractor after the crowd raised the noise and fled leaving the tractor-trolley on the spot. All the injured were taken to Gunnaur CHC for treatment. There, after first aid, the doctors referred Hari Om, Chhote, Indra and Rajo Devi to the Higher Center. On information, the police reached the spot and took the tractor-trolley in possession and brought it to the police station. Filled the panchnama of the woman’s body and sent it for post-mortem.
