In Kanpur, a speeding car rammed into the backing tractor trolley on the Sachendi-Bidhnu road late on Wednesday night. Uncle nephew died in a horrific road accident. Four people including the car driver were injured. Doctors have described the condition of the driver as critical.
The cousin of Yogendra Singh, resident of Binor village of the area, was engaged in Benda village. On Wednesday, Yogendra’s wife Pooja, sister Gudiya, younger brother Anil Singh (22), only son Yuvraj Singh (5), cousin Sumit had gone to attend the event along with car driver Gaya Prasad in an e-on car.
While returning at around 10.30 pm, the tractor driver backed his vehicle without seeing it near Rustampur village on Sachendi-Bidhnu road. Due to this the trolley came in the middle of the road. Then the speeding car rammed into the trolley. In the accident, Anil sitting on the front seat of the car and Yuvraj sitting on his lap died on the spot due to serious head injuries.
The police reached the information and sent the injured to the halts. According to the police, the tractor driver fled from the spot taking advantage of the night. Search for him is going on. The police have assured action to the bereaved families.
Suddenly lost control seeing the trolley in front
Pooja was also in the car at the time of the accident. According to Pooja, the car was traveling at a normal speed of around 50 kmph. Then suddenly the driver lost control of the car when a trolley came in the middle of the road. Despite applying brakes, the car rammed into the trolley while rubbing it on the road, causing the front part of the car to blown away.
Shadow mourning in the family due to two deaths
Yuvraj was the only son of his parents. After the post-mortem on Thursday, mother Pooja became unconscious after seeing the dead body. She kept looking at her red with stony eyes. At the same time, there was mourning in the family due to the two deaths together.
