Used to sell stolen bikes for just 18 hundred rupees to fulfill the addiction, 3 arrested

New Delhi/Team Digital. Loni Police has busted the gang of two wheeler thefts in Delhi-NCR region to fulfill the addiction. Police arrested three gang members and recovered four stolen bikes and scooties on their spot. According to the police, the accused used to fulfill the hobby of drugs by selling the stolen bike for just Rs 18 hundred to Rs 2,000. They were taking the stolen bike for sale to Baghpat, when they were caught.

SHO Loni Ajay Chaudhary said that on the basis of the information of the informer, the police arrested three vehicle thieves during the checking. These include Furkan, a resident of Mustafabad Delhi, Sonu alias Shanu, a resident of Sterilization Colony, Loni, and Arif, a resident of Khekra Baghpat. The SHO says that the three arrested accused are addicted to drugs. To fulfill this addiction, these people steal the vehicle and sell it to passers-by and scavengers at cheap prices. Sonu has gone to jail from Loni police station in the past in the case of vehicle theft.

The accused told during interrogation that he was going to Baghpat to sell the stolen bike for just 18 hundred rupees. For this, he had made a bike deal with the repairman of Baghpat. Police say the accused have confessed to stealing about two dozen vehicles. Efforts are on to nab their other accomplices as well.
