Young cricketer Avi Barot dies at the age of 29

New Delhi | Avi Barot Death: A bad news has come out from the cricket world. Former India Under-19 captain Avi Barot passed away on Friday due to cardiac arrest. He was only 29 years old. The entire cricketing world is in shock due to the sudden departure of this young cricketer. Many sports personalities including former Indian batsman Wasim Jaffer have condoled the death of Barot. Barot was also a member of the 2020 Ranji Trophy winning team of Saurashtra. The Saurashtra Cricket Association has issued a statement expressing condolences on the death of Barot, describing him as a talented player.

Wasim Jaffer also expressed grief
Avi Barot Death: Former India batsman Wasim Jaffer has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Avi Barot and wrote that, I am deeply saddened to hear of the demise of Avi Barot. Cardiac arrest at the age of 29. This is heart breaking. I extend my condolences to his family and friends. I hope God will give them the strength to bear this loss.

short but brilliant career
Avi Barot Death: Avi Barot’s career may have been short, but it has been brilliant. Barot started his career playing for the Gujarat team in the domestic circuit. After this, Barot became the captain of India’s Under-19 team in 2011. In the same year, he was awarded the Cricketer of the Year Award by the BCCI in the Under-19 category. In his short career, Barot played 38 first-class matches, 17 List A matches and 20 T20Is.
