Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise
Oil prices increased again on Sunday. The price of both petrol and diesel has been increased by 35-35 paise per liter. With this, the price of car-bike oil has now become one-third more than that of airplane oil (ATF). Along with this, the prices of petrol and diesel have now reached a new high across the country. Petrol and diesel prices have increased by 35 paise per liter for the fourth consecutive day.
According to the price notification issued by the public sector oil marketing companies, the prices of both petrol and diesel have been increased by 35 paise per liter. Petrol in Delhi has now reached its all-time high of Rs 105.84 per liter. In Mumbai it has now become Rs 111.77 per liter.
Petrol price crosses Rs 100 in all state capitals
Diesel has reached Rs 102.52 per liter in Mumbai and Rs 94.57 per liter in Delhi. With this increase, petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter in all the state capitals. At the same time, diesel has crossed the century in about a dozen states. Now diesel has crossed Rs 100 per liter in Bengaluru, Daman and Silvassa.
Petrol price 33 percent higher than ATF
Due to this, the price of petrol has now increased by 33 percent from ATF. ATF in Delhi is Rs 79,020.16 per kiloliter i.e. Rs 79 per liter. Petrol has reached Rs 117.86 per liter in Ganganagar, Rajasthan. There diesel has become Rs 105.95 per liter.
In the last week of September, the process of revision in oil prices started again after three weeks. This is the 16th increase in petrol since then. At the same time, the price of diesel has been increased 19 times during this period.
Diesel scored a century in more than one recorded state
Petrol has already crossed the Rs 100 per liter mark in most parts of the country. At the same time, diesel has crossed the century in about a dozen states and union territories- Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Kerala, Karnataka and Ladakh.
Vehicle fuel prices vary in different states due to local taxes. At present, Brent crude oil has reached $ 84.8 per barrel internationally. Brent crude oil has gone to this level for the first time in seven years.
